Drain and sewer cleaning in Tashkent
Slow drainage, a smell from the drain or a completely blocked sewer line: the plumber arrives with a cable and hydro-jetting equipment and clears the blockage the same day. We work with cast-iron, plastic and old steel pipes.
How we clear blockages
First we locate the blockage and its cause: a local clog in the siphon, a grease plug in the kitchen branch or sediment build-up in the riser. The method depends on this. Simple clogs are removed with a plumbing cable, stubborn and old ones are flushed with a pressurised hydro-jetting machine.
Hydro-jetting cleans the pipe walls along the whole length instead of punching a narrow channel, so the problem does not come back a week later. Afterwards we test the flow with water and clean up.
Typical causes of blockages in Tashkent
In older buildings the usual culprits are cast-iron pipes with rough walls where grease and limescale from hard water settle. In new builds, blockages are usually caused by construction debris and incorrect pipe slopes.
Hair and soap scum in the bathroom, wet wipes and cat litter in the toilet are a separate story. The plumber will advise how to avoid a repeat and whether preventive flushing makes sense.
When to call a plumber instead of using chemicals
Aggressive drain cleaners corrode old pipes and rubber seals, and with a dense plug they simply sit in the riser. If water does not drain from several points at once or rises in the apartments below, the problem is in the shared riser and needs professional cleaning.
We do not use acids and do not dismantle pipes unnecessarily. In most cases a blockage is cleared in 30 to 60 minutes.

How long does drain cleaning take?
A simple sink or bathtub blockage is cleared in 30 to 40 minutes. Hydro-jetting a riser takes one to two hours depending on the length and condition of the pipe.
Do I need to prepare anything before the visit?
Just clear access to the drain and the space under the sink. The plumber brings all equipment and consumables.
Can the cable damage the pipe?
Not when used correctly: the plumber selects the cable diameter and head for the pipe material and size. For fragile old pipes we use hydro-jetting instead.
Is the cleaning covered by a warranty?
Yes. If the blockage returns in the same place within the warranty period, we come back free of charge.
