Water and sewer pipe repair and replacement in Tashkent
Rusty water, falling pressure, damp patches on walls and constant drips at threaded joints are signs that pipes have reached the end of their life. We repair failing sections and carry out full replacement of the piping with neat routing and a pressure test.
Which pipes we replace
Steel water pipes in buildings from the 1960s to 1990s scale up inside and rust at threaded joints. We replace them with welded polypropylene or with multilayer pipe and compression fittings, depending on the conditions and budget.
Cast-iron sewer pipes are replaced with modern PVC pipes with socket joints and adapters to the neighbouring sections. That removes smells, blockages and noise in the riser.
Replacing a riser within the apartment
If the riser is shared, the section within your apartment can be replaced. The plumber arranges the water shut-off, removes the old section and installs a new one with expansion joints and adapters to the neighbours' pipes.
If the neighbours also want to replace the riser, we schedule the work together so the water is shut off only once.
Repair without full replacement
Not everything needs replacing: a local leak on a straight run is fixed by replacing a metre of pipe, a leaking valve by fitting a new ball valve, a pinhole in cast iron by a repair clamp until a planned renovation.
After any work we test the system at operating pressure and show you the result.

How long do polypropylene pipes last?
With correct installation and no water hammer, several decades. The material does not rust or scale up inside.
Do walls need to be opened?
Not for exposed piping. If pipes are embedded in walls we open only the necessary areas and show them to you before starting.
Can pipes be replaced without shutting off the neighbours' water?
Piping inside the apartment, yes, by closing the inlet valves. Work on the riser requires a water shut-off, which we help to arrange.
Do you bring pipes and fittings?
Yes, the plumber arrives with materials for the agreed scope. Your own materials can be used if their quality is adequate.
