Drain cleaning
We clear sinks, bathtubs, toilets and risers with a mechanical cable or hydro-jetting, without dismantling pipes.
A correctly installed toilet sits firmly, does not leak at the base and does not make noise while filling. The plumber removes the old fixture, prepares the outlet and water supply, installs the new toilet and checks every connection.
We check the position of the sewer outlet, horizontal, vertical or angled, and select an adapter or flexible connector of the right length. The toilet is fixed to the floor with anchors and the base is sealed so water cannot get underneath.
We connect the flexible hose through a separate valve, adjust the float and flush mechanism and test the flush several times.
The frame is mounted on a load-bearing wall or inside a stud frame, levelled and set to height, and water and drainage are brought up to the cladding. This is renovation work and is best planned in advance.
Once the wall is clad with plasterboard and tiles, we hang the bowl, fit the flush plate and test the system.
Old toilets often sit on cement mortar and a cast-iron outlet. The plumber removes the fixture carefully, cleans the area and replaces the sewer branch section if necessary.
The old toilet is taken away by arrangement or left for disposal, as you prefer.
Prices cover a standard scope of work excluding materials. The exact price is confirmed after inspection and before work starts.
Replacing a floor-standing toilet on a prepared spot takes about an hour and a half. A concealed frame takes from three hours, excluding finishing work.
